Always Something To Be Thankful For

In the midst of the COVID-19 scare there always something to be thankful for. Today was a beautiful trip to Wickenburg:

Quote of the Week

On Sunday afternoon I had the kids doing some chores to get ready to leave for Arizona. Zeke, my eight year old, said to me, “Mom, could you write down a list for me so that I can cross things off?” Haha! I love it, a child after my own heart. Our, at least another one that I’ve passed my sickness down to!  Thank you, Jesus, for these glimpses that you’re helping me raise my kids to be competent adults. Momming with Sparkle,  Heather

Quote of the Week

This week we’ve been facing the COVID-19 scare in our house & talking a lot about having faith in Jesus. My sweet 6-year-old said to me, “Mommy, can I whisper something in your ear? I was so afraid to go outside because I thought I’d get the Coronovirus, but then I thought that if I get it Jesus can just redempt me!” What faith! That’s right, Elijah, Jesus can redempt us, but no matter what happens, by the grace of God, we will praise Him!!  Run With Sparkle,  Heather

Another Unexpected Blessing

Last night a nice note and a $300 check arrived from the man that Nate sat next to on the airplane to Richmond, VA. Father, would you bless Him richly for His faithfulness & His generosity?  Thank you for continuing to bless our family!! Because of You & your provision I can run with Sparkle!

A Prayer for My Family

Circumcise our hearts, Lord, that we would love you with all that we have! A new heart, O Lord!! Father,  Place your commands in our mouths & in our hearts! I’m so very thankful that this prayer is not out of reach! You’re doing the work, I’m beginning to see! I praise you for the flicker of hope that I can see!

A Lent Blessing

These people are detoxing from T.V. and video games and I love it! I’m still praying about what the Doyle family video game & media boundary should look like. These kids have been much more engaged & loving with each other. We aren’t using movies & video games as a crutch. More reading is happening & more creativity.

Getting Big

This guy had his one month check up today & he’s  10 lbs. 7 oz. He’s such a cuddly little baby & so loved by all of his family!
