HAPPY EASTER & Zekey turns 3


Happy Easter!!!

We woke up to great excitement over the realization that today was the day Jesus rose from the dead and Zekey was born! :)  Isaiah worked hard on this special birthday crown for our newly 3 year old!
Everyone was happy to pose for pictures....thank you for making Mommy so stinkin' happy!

What a blessed week! 

So thankful for Jesus and what He did for us....and, so thankful He gave us sweet Ezekiel Thomas, living up to his name, "God is my strength!"

 Tomorrow we look forward to Lola's arrival!

At the Discipleship Summit this year Jesus kept telling me in multiple ways to be a better listener... 1. He was a great listener! Joy in the Morning

“You have turned my mourning into joyful dancing. You have taken away my clothes of mourning and clothed me with joy, that I might sing praises to you and not be silent. There are so many reasons to rejoice, and I’m so thankful for all that You do & how You continually come through for our church & our family. But, it’s You that I’m most grateful for. Sitting and Resting...This is How I Fight

Sitting at the feet of Jesus....this is where it all begins.  Today has the potential of a fear-filled day.  But, I have experienced a life, days, moments without fear so, with all that is in me, I am going to fight for fearlessness.  As I sit at the feet of Jesus, He gently whispers His love to me.  And, in that love, the fear is gone.  He's got our backs, He's got my kids, their schooling, their friendships, their choices, the things they see & hear. He's got it all and He cares about it all.  He loves my little family of Doyles even more than I can imagine.  In that truth and promise, I will rest today. A day that threatens fear and failure, yet in His love and power, I will rest.
